Ultra Violet

So pastel hair: everyone from from the ultra-cool style icons to at least half the female population at my highschool has tried it, (some rocking it more than others). Rather than being sick of this trend, I'm still rather inspired by it, especially this less common lavender shade above. So far I haven't had the guts to tamper with my naturally blonde locks, but who knows, maybe some day i'll just go for it.

Rain or Shine

I spent my spring break in Palm Springs this year, and on one of my many shopping outings--my wallet has been emptied out, so much for my "car savings" money--I picked up a pair of J Crew rainboots, (pictured above) a variation of the classic Hunters that I had been wanting forever. Though purchasing rain boots may have been an unecessary buy for someone living in California (they were such a steal though: $29.99!) I found a picture of Kate Bosworth at Coachella last weekend (pictured above) and realized that rain boots can be worn rain or shine. I mean sure, there was a chance of rain, but look how awesome they look with her dress, I'm obsessed.

In love--sounds a little like Mumford and Sons. Hope everyone's having a splendid day :)
